Molten Zinc Pumps

Molten Metal Pumps are widely used in various industry sectors for pumping of Non-Ferrous metals in their molten states like Aluminum, Zinc, Lead, Tin and Magnesium. AURO’s Molten Metal Pumps are specifically engineered and designed to handle the harshest of working environments like extreme temperatures, heavy abrasion, wear and corrosion due to elevated temperatures. These pumps are made from specially developed metallurgy which is suitable for the constant exposure to such extreme working conditions. All AURO make Molten Metal Pumps are designed and manufactured in-house at our manufacturing facility in Gujarat, India.

MOLTEN ZINC PUMPS

AURO’s AMZ series Molten Zinc Pumps are designed and engineered to withstand the extreme temperatures, dross induced heavy abrasion & erosion and temperature induced corrosion. Molten zinc pumps are used for forced circulation as well as for safe molten metal transfer.

TRANSFER PUMPS

• Safe transfer of Molten Zinc from furnace to furnace or furnace to ladle
• Safe emergency pump-out of Molten Zinc from the furnace or kettle
• Designed for maximum gravity-draining to avoid any major solidification of molten zinc within the assembly
• Easy and quick maintenance procedure to reduce cost
• Specially engineered line bearing materials for optimum shaft alignment and longer operational life
• Double bearing design for greater shaft stability
• Temperature range up to 550°C
• Capacity up to 250 tons/h (higher capacity will be quoted on request)
• Immersion up to 3.5 meters kettle depth
• Molten Zinc Transfer Pumps are used in Hot Dip Galvanizing plants, Continuous Galvanizing & coating lines, Die casting machines, scrap recycling lines, Ingot casting lines, etc.

CONTINUOUS CIRCULATION PUMPS

• Specially developed and proven metallurgy to withstand continuous exposure to high temperature, wear and corrosion
• Provides forced convectional heat transfer in the Molten Zinc furnace to achieve temperature uniformity
• Provides mass circulation for alloy metallurgical homogenization and better metal quality
• Increases the melt rate resulting in improved furnace efficiency and productivity
• Reduced dross accumulation
• Maintains clean Molten Zinc in the Snout area of continuous galvanizing (push-pull system) lines to achieve higher quality defect free coating
• Provides far longer life as compared to conventional graphite pumps or imported metallic pumps whencontinuouslyimmersion in Molten Zinc for extended durations
• Dual heavy duty bearing design for higher stability and operational life
• Replaceable lower assembly design to allow for faster and cheaper maintenance of the pumps
• Axial flow Propeller type Molten zinc Snout pumps for Continuous Galvanizing Lines (CGL) are also available on request

Molten Zinc Push-Pull arrangement systems for CGLs to achieve reduced dross in the snout area and higher quality defect free Galvanized coating are also available. These systems are custom designed and manufactured as per the requirement of the end user. This system can be attached as an add-on to your existing Galvanizing snout.
